The artwork reflects the idea that appreciation does not need to wait until everything is complete, certain, or exactly as imagined. There can be value in recognizing what already exists—the experiences that brought us here, the people and places that became part of the journey, and the ordinary moments that may eventually become the ones we remember most.

As the ninth and concluding artwork in Affirmations II, Grateful for Here brings the collection into gratitude. After moving through identity, everyday experience, acceptance, healing, creativity, connection, and presence, the artwork closes the series by returning attention to where we already are.

Created for personal printing, this high-resolution artwork offers a simple reflection on appreciation: there can always be somewhere else to go, while still being grateful for here.
